One Mann's Opinion

Happy New Year! I hope that everyone’s holiday was wonderful in union with their families, and I hope that as the new year begins, we remind ourselves “out with the old, in with the new.” 2009 is gone. Whatever was done, whatever we did, it’s over. It’s time to start brand new. Get your brain juices going because 2010 is going to be a great year. I can just feel it!

Let us begin, as we always do, with our fantastic cover for this month. Steven Mayer and his group at Amper, Politziner & Mattia, LLP has provided us with an insider’s view of what makes Amper the great firm that it is. As you read our coverage on them, you will begin to notice that the number one priority to Amper and co. is their clients’ well-being. The measure of a great company is the happiness of their clients and Amper’s clients are very happy. Who wouldn’t be when you have a firm as attentive to clients’ needs as Amper is. They definitely deserve all their successes.

Moving along, we have another individual, Adam Cohen of Covenant Review, who specializes in providing research and analysis on matters such as credit agreements and bond indentures. His company strives to make the task of reading through tons of financial information easy for investors by providing summaries and key points so that investors can make informed decisions with their money.

All of our profiles this month are a great testament to putting clients’ needs first. Brian Kim, Marcia Nelson, Wally Sullivan, Dr. Walter Gerasimowicz, and Larry Nusbaum. They do what they love and part of what they love is making people happy.

Of course our columnists deserve some attention too! I’d like to take some time now and thank those who continuously provide great editorial for Mann On The Street. Issue after issue they have enliven our pages with so much useful information and tips on how to take care of our assets. I’d also like to thank those that provide us tips on just being better people, or tips on how to handle office politics. We always strive to provide the best content possible in Mann On The Street and with contributing editors like Kim Ann Curtin and Jaime Raskulinecz, it isn’t very hard.

Remember, we welcome any kind of feedback on this magazine. If ever there is a question about something or readers would like to know more about a service, or even if you are a financial services provider and would like to be featured in Mann On The Street, give us a call, send us an e-mail. We’re here to listen and to put our readers first. Because when you get down to the grain, we’re here because you allowed us to be here. You’ve opened your hearts to us and I graciously thank you from the bottom of mine.

Regards,

Jeff
